Ms. Yakubova obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree from University of California at Berkeley in 2007.
Upon graduation, Ms. Yakubova found herself at an international intellectual property law firm, where she learned the ins and outs of intellectual property practice and litigation. Having observed many brilliant legal minds at work, Ms. Yakubova was inspired to pursue a law degree, and ultimately got her J.D. at the University of San Francisco in 2016. While in law school, Ms. Yakubova was a staff member and an editor of the University of San Francisco Law Review. Ms. Yakubova also helped budding entrepreneurs realize their business visions with the help of the Entrepreneurial Ventures Legal Services Project. Being passionate about advocacy, Ms. Yakubova participated in the Intensive Advocacy Program, a two-week intensive litigation and trial skills course. Ms. Yakubova obtained favorable verdicts during two mock trials held as a part of the course, and was recognized with a McFetridge Award for Creativity in Trial Advocacy.
Ms. Yakubova has been privileged to join McNamara’s insurance defense team in 2018. Her current practice is focused primarily on personal injury, automobile accidents, and trucking cases. She represents clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation through trial, and has achieved multiple settlements as well as favorable trial verdicts.
Ms. Yakubova was admitted to the California Bar Association in 2016. She is currently a member of California Bar Association, Solano County Bar Association, Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada, and the Defense Research Institute. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Solano County Bar Association Board of Directors.
