Mr. Hirsig graduated from the University of the Pacific – McGeorge School of Law in 1998. While at McGeorge, Mr. Hirsig received honors in Trial Advocacy. He also attended the University of Salzburg, Austria, as part of his legal training where he took a variety of summer classes including a constitutional law course taught by Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. Mr. Hirsig received his Bachelor of Arts in English from the California State University in Sacramento.

Mr. Hirsig has a very active trial practice and has been selected on multiple occasions as both a Rising Star and Super Lawyer in California’s Super Lawyer Magazine from 2009 to the present. He is a trained mediator through Pepperdine University’s Strauss Institute Mediation Program and devotes time to the courts in Solano County conducting pro bono mediation services. He also previously served on the Solano County Courts Alternative Dispute Resolution task force.

Mr. Hirsig is licensed to practice in California State and Federal Courts. He is a member (Associate) of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Solano County Bar Association. Mr. Hirsig served on the board of directors for the Solano County Bar Association from 2007 through 2011, held the position of Vice President in 2012 and was President of the Bar Association in 2013. In his spare time he coaches his son’s basketball and baseball teams. He also keeps active with 10k’s, triathlons and various mud runs throughout California.
