Mr. Sullivan obtained his College Degree in 1981, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. He received his Juris Doctor from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1986, where he was involved in Student Government, a member of the Dean’s Honor Roll and Mc George Moot Court Executive Committee.
Prior to joining McNamara, Ambacher, Wheeler, Hirsig & Gray, LLP. in 2022, Mr. Sullivan had an esteemed legal background, including judicial clerkships with Hon. E. Kendall Clarke, US Department of the Interior, in 1984 and 1985. He was a Partner with Borton, Petrini & Conron, and practiced with Larson & Burnham, as well as Rogaski, Preovolos, Weber & Patterson, LLP. He has worked as Staff Legal at Zurich NA (Narayan and Hudson), and has 20+ years of Solo Practice in Napa, CA.
Mr. Sullivan was admitted to the California Bar in 1986. He is admitted to the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Federal District Courts of California. He has tried both Civil (Plaintiff and Defense) and Criminal (Misdemeanor and Felony) matters to verdict.
His current practice consists of Civil Litigation in defense of wrongful death and catastrophic injury matters, as well as defense of homeowners and homeowner associations.
Dan is a North SF Bay Native, born in San Francisco, raised in Sonoma, and currently residing in Napa for over 30 years. When he’s not practicing law, he’s a Snowmobiler, Snowcatter, Motorcyclist, and Home Renovator, and would rather spend time at La Porte than anywhere else.
